The OFC Women's Nations Cup 1989 ( Engl. : OFC Women's Nations Cup ) was the third playout of an oceanic continental championship in the women's game and was held until April 1, 1989 in Brisbane (Australia) in the period from 26 March. In addition to hosts Australia , only four teams took part in the tournament with New Zealand , Papua New Guinea and Chinese Taipei . Everyone against everyone was played in a simple round. The two first-placed teams then played a final game.
Taiwan became Oceania champions in women's football for the second time with a 1-0 final victory over New Zealand.
