Oceanic Boxing Championships 2017
The 2017 Oceanic Men's Boxing Championships were held from June 26th to 29th in the Australian coastal city of Gold Coast . The organizer was the oceanic boxing association OCBC , a member of the world association AIBA .
39 boxers from eight nations took part. Due to the small number of participants, there were only six boxers without a medal. In the light flyweight and lightweight weights only two boxers competed, which is why there were no bronze medalists in these weight classes. The 20 finalists also automatically qualified for the 2017 World Championships in Hamburg .
