The Ozhidaniya Cove ( Russian Залив Ожидания Saliw Oschidanija , German 'Bay of Premonition' ) is a bay on the Princess Astrid coast of the East Antarctic Queen Maud Land . It is located 800 m east of Tyuleniy Point on the north side of the Schirmacher Oasis .
Soviet scientists did the mapping and naming in 1961. The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names translated this into English in 1970.
