The Ozombu Zovindimba is an archaeological archaeological site in the constituency Otjinene in the region Omaheke in Namibia . Since September 1st, 2011 it has been a National Monument of Namibia .
It is a man-made mound of sand that was believed to have served the protection force as a military post during the Herero and Nama uprising . Lieutenant General Lothar von Trotha is said to have given the order to be exterminated on January 12, 1904.
