The Pärnu River ( Estonian Pärnu jõgi ) is the second longest river in Estonia with a length of 144 km after the Võhandu River .
The river has its source in the Pandivere ridge near Roosna-Alliku ( Järva district ) and flows over the Pärnu lowlands into the Baltic Sea bay of the same name . The tributaries on the right (from the upper reaches) are the Lintsi , Käru, Vändra and Sauga rivers , and Navesti and Reiu on the left .
