Pollnitz
Pöllnitz was a short-lived community in the far west of today's Greiz district in Thuringia .
geography
The municipality through which the river Auma flows was located southwest of Gera, not far from the federal highway 9 . The community was 318 m high.
history
The community was established on April 9, 1994 from the then independent communities Forstwolfersdorf , Großebersdorf , Neundorf , Niederpöllnitz and Rohna . On December 21, 1995 the merger with the neighboring community of Harth took place to form the community of Harth-Pöllnitz , whose seat is in the Niederpöllnitz district. Today, Harth-Pöllnitz has fewer than 3000 inhabitants.

The municipal council elected on June 9, 1994 had 14 seats, which were distributed as follows:
- CDU 5 seats (34.0%)
- FDP 2 seats (12.8%)
- FARMERS 3 seats (21.1%)
- FFW 1 seat (5.5%)
- FWG 3 seats (22.1%)
