Neundorf is a district of the municipality of Harth-Pöllnitz in the Greiz district in Thuringia .
geography
The street village of Neundorf is located east of Niederpöllnitz in an agricultural area. The other neighboring towns are Struth , Frießnitz ; Grochwitz and Rohna . The district extends from the Auma valley to the Weida industrial area.
history
Neundorf was first registered in a document on September 24, 1267. In 1557 the name Prellmühlengelänge was mentioned in the Turkish register . That was the first written reference to the Prellmühle in town. Also called “Veit Prelle, Müller” under Neundorf. During a mill inspection, the mill was named again in 1682. Around 1953 it did its job and the mill was shut down. On September 1, 1982, the mill intentionally burned down during a civil defense exercise. On April 9, 1994, the once independent community was incorporated into Pöllnitz . On December 21, 1995, the company was reclassified to Harth-Pöllnitz.
