history
The place is first mentioned in a document as Wolframsdorf vor dem Forste on October 18, 1287. He was formerly parish seat for the surrounding villages Uhlersdorf and today the administrative community Auma-Weidatal belonging Wiebelsdorf , Pfersdorf and Wöhlsdorf . In 1491 a miller was named in the village, who probably also operated the water mill. It was a grinding and cutting mill and had other owners over time. In 1952 there was a serious accident. When changing a turbine pipe, the owner received a fatal head injury. The successor managed the mill successfully until 1960 after qualification. Health problems and the restructuring of agriculture in the GDR caused the mill to end.
On April 9, 1994, the once independent municipality was incorporated into the municipality of Pöllnitz . On December 21, 1995, it was reclassified to the municipality of Harth-Pöllnitz.
