Pfersdorf is a district of the rural community city Auma-Weidatal in the district of Greiz in Thuringia .
geography
Pfersdorf is located east of the city of Auma and can be reached via state road 2331 and district road 306. At the junction of the south- east Thuringian slate mountains and the red sandstone area east of Triptis is the district of the village in a hilly terrain .
history
The village was first mentioned in documents in 1337. Agriculture has always shaped the scene and the image of the village.
On December 1, 2011, the city of Auma and the communities of Braunsdorf , Göhren - Döhlen , Staitz and Wiebelsdorf merged with Pfersdorf and Wöhlsdorf to form the rural community of Auma-Weidatal.
