In the former administrative community of Auma-Weidatal in the Thuringian district of Greiz , the city of Auma and seven municipalities had come together to handle their administrative business. The seat of the administrative community was Auma.

history
The administrative community was founded on January 3, 1996. The city of Auma, Silberfeld and Zadelsdorf previously formed the administrative community Auma , the other municipalities the administrative community Weidatal . On December 1, 2011, the city of Auma merged with Braunsdorf, Göhren-Döhlen, Staitz and Wiebelsdorf to form the rural community and city of Auma-Weidatal . Merkendorf, Silberfeld and Zadelsdorf were incorporated into Zeulenroda-Triebes .
