description

The hall church of Romanesque origin has a recessed, square choir tower and a semicircular apse with an apse dome . The current appearance is characterized by several modifications. On the south side of the apse is a late Gothic kielbogiges window with a robe of truss . The top floor of the tower is made of timber framing. Above it is a slate-covered onion cap , crowned with a lantern . The interior of the slate-roofed nave is covered with a wooden beam ceiling. The galleries were built in the 18th century. The church furnishings are simple. During the last renovation of the interior in 1964–1966, the pulpit altar was demolished. The pulpit was placed on the south side of the triumphal arch . In the choir there are four large carved statues from an altarpiece from the early 16th century. It is Peter , Paul , James and another unidentified saint . On the west gallery is an organ with 8 registers , divided into a manual and a pedal , which was built in 1775 by Christian Wilhelm Trampeli . It was restored in 2012-2013 .
