P'yŏngyang Pangsong ( German Radio Pyongyang , English also Pyongyang Broadcasting Station , abbreviated PBS ) is a North Korean radio broadcaster based in Pyongyang .

P'yŏngyang Pangsong broadcasts a program in Korean for Koreans outside North Korea's state borders. It is broadcast on medium and shortwave frequencies . The destination of the shipments is mostly northeast China, where there is a relatively strong Korean minority, especially in the border area. In addition to Europe, the Far East of Russia, where there is also a Korean minority and numerous North Korean contract workers in forestry, is targeted as a target area. Programs in foreign languages ​​were also produced until 2002. This service has been outsourced as the Voice of Korea and also broadcasts P'yŏngyang Pangsong and domestic radio broadcasts on its frequencies.
