The 1939/40 season was the seventh regular season of the Pacific Coast Hockey League (PCHL). The champions became the Vancouver Lions .

The following changes were made before the start of the season:
- The Spokane Clippers stopped the game.

During the regular season, the three teams in the league played 40 games each. Each team received two points for a win, one point for a draw and zero points for a defeat.
