The Vancouver Lions were a Canadian ice hockey franchise of the Pacific Coast Hockey League based in Vancouver , British Columbia .
history
The Vancouver Lions franchise began playing in the newly formed Pacific Coast Hockey League in 1928 , the championship of which it won in 1929 and 1930. When the PCHL was temporarily dissolved after three years, the team moved to the North West Hockey League , in which they also played for three years and whose championship they won in 1935. When the PCHL resumed playing in 1936, the Lions returned to the league. When the league was temporarily dissolved for the second time in 1941, the Lions ceased playing.
