The Seattle Stars were an American ice hockey franchise of the Pacific Coast Hockey League based in Seattle , Washington .

The Seattle Stars were founded as a franchise of the Pacific Coast Hockey League for the 1944/45 season . In their only season they finished third in the North Division, scoring 25 points in 27 games. The stars were in direct competition for spectators to the Seattle Ironmen , which this year won the Lester Patrick Cup , the championship title of the PCHL. Following the 1944/45 season, the Stars stopped playing after just one year.
