The Hollywood Wolves were an American ice hockey franchise of the Pacific Coast Hockey League based in Los Angeles , California .
history
The Hollywood Wolves were formed in 1942 as an amateur team. First they played for two years in the Southern California Hockey League, before the franchise for the 1944/45 season in their successor, the professional league Pacific Coast Hockey League , changed. The most successful season of the team from Hollywood , a district of Los Angeles, was the season 1946/47 , in which they took first place in the South Division. In the playoffs for the Lester Patrick Cup , the championship title of the PCHL, the team could not prevail. Following the season, the team stopped playing.
