The PCIM Europe (acronym for Power Conversion and Intelligent Motion ) with parallel taking place conference is an international trade fair for power electronics and its applications. PCIM has been represented in China with PCIM Asia since 2002.

PCIM Europe takes place annually on the exhibition grounds of Messe Nürnberg . 515 exhibitors presented themselves at PCIM Europe 2019. 12,182 visitors came to the event. The conference, which took place at the same time, had 804 participants.

In 2020 the fair was canceled.

Exhibition themes

Products and services u. a. from areas of power electronics such as power semiconductors , integrated circuits , passive components , magnetic and coil materials , heat control , sensors , structural and environmental systems, electrical drive technology , power supplies / power supply, power quality and energy storage , measurement and testing technology, development software, information and services.

Exhibition forums

PCIM Europe is offering three forums at the fair. At the specialist forum , industry experts discuss current topics from research and development. At the exhibitor forum, trade visitors can find out about the latest product developments from the exhibiting companies. Current trends and developments on the subject of electromobility are presented and discussed at the E-Mobility Forum . All forums are accessible free of charge for trade visitors to PCIM Europe.

At the PCIM Europe conference, the latest research results and developments from all areas of power electronics will be presented in first publications. In recent years, the group of speakers has consisted of representatives from industry, universities and research institutions. The conference language is English.
