LEDA / PGC 16670 is a spiral galaxy of Hubble type Sc in the constellation Dorado at the southern sky , the 208 million light-years from an estimated Milky Way is removed. Together with PGC 16640 it forms a gravitationally bound galaxy pair and with NGC 1706 and NGC 1771 the small galaxy group LGG 125 .
The Type Ia supernova SN 2006aw was observed here.
