The Pabbar is a right tributary of the Tons in the Indian state of Himachal Pradesh .
The Pabbar is located in the far west of the Ganges catchment area . It rises on the southern slope of the mountain ridge in the western Himalayas , which flanks the Sangla valley to the south. The Pabbar flows through the east of the Shimla district in a predominantly southern direction. The Sawra-Kuddu hydropower plant with an installed capacity of 111 MW is located in the small town of Hatkoti . The Pabbar finally flows into the Tons . The river has a length of about 80 km.
