Pablo Bentancur , full name Pablo Ramiro Bentancur Rodriguez (born February 28, 1989 in Melo , Uruguay ) is a Uruguayan football player .

Career

According to his club, the goalkeeper , who is 1.84 meters tall, began his career in the 2005/06 season at an amateur level in the OFI area at Sauce Melo . He then spent the next two seasons with the reserve team (Formativas) Juventuds . From the 2008/09 season he was a member of the first team and was used twice in the Apertura 2008 in the Primera División . The season ended his team in 14th place in the table, which resulted in relegation to the Segunda División . In 2009 he moved to the first division club Central Español . Since 2010 he has been in the ranks of Cerro Largo FC . Neither in the 2011/12 season nor in the 2012/13 season he was used. However, he was charged with participating in a brawl on the occasion of the first division match between the clubs Cerro Largo FC and Club Atlético Cerro in July 2012, along with other professional footballers such as Gustavo Varela , Andrés Ravecca , Mathías Rolero and César Faletti .
