Pacific Nations Cup 2017
The Pacific Nations Cup 2017 is the 12th edition of the rugby union tournament Pacific Nations Cup . The national teams of Fiji , Samoa and Tonga are involved . There will be three games between July 1 and 12, 2017, with each team playing once against the other two. As in the previous year, since this year's edition of the competition also serves as a qualification for the Rugby Union World Cup 2019 , the teams from Japan , Canada and the USA will not participate.

The distribution of points was as follows:
- 4 points if you win
- 2 points if there is a tie
- 0 points in the event of a loss (before possible bonus points)
- 1 bonus point for four attempts in a game
- 1 bonus point if you lose less than seven points
