Paftjauauneith was a high ancient Egyptian official of the 26th Dynasty who lived under Pharaoh (King) Apries (589-570 BC) and Pharaoh Amasis (570-526 BC). Paftjauauneith held various titles, including senior asset manager , treasury manager and great doctor ( wr-swnw ). His mother was a certain Nanesbastet, his father a high official by the name of Sasobek.

Paftjauauneith is best known for a number of statues (London BM EA 83, statue from Mit Rahina, from Buto and a statue in the Louvre , A 93). On the statue in the Louvre, which was found in Abydos , he reports on construction work on the temple of Chontamenti there . He tells of the construction of an adobe wall and a granite shrine. Remnants of this shrine have been found in Abydos and may be connected to this construction work.
