The Pagayer River is a river in western Dominica in the parishes of Saint Paul and Saint Joseph .

geography

The Pagayer River rises with two source streams on the plateau northwest of the Morne Trois Pitons at Harris Soltoun Estate , near the Warner River and on the opposite side of the watershed to the Belfast River . It runs to the northeast through Leeonce David and Pagayer , where it receives small tributaries from the Morne Couronne from the west and to the left . The stream that forms the Spanny Falls (Penrice Falls) and flows into the Pagayer at Chapara (Fond Zombie) also rises from one of its northeastern foothills , just before it flows into the Layou River itself.
