Years later, the musician Shyam finds Sujeet singing on the roadside and hires him as a singer in a nightclub. There Sujeet meets the dancer Jenny and they both fall in love. When they announce their wedding, the nightclub owner Max crosses their plans. When Max then also draws a gun, Shyam kills him. Sujeet decides to take the blame and is arrested by the police.
By pretending to be a madman, Sujeet is taken to a psychiatric institution. There he is treated very lovingly by the doctor Shalini. After a year he is released and returns to the nightclub only to see Shyam and Jenny get engaged. He feels betrayed and actually goes insane, so he is taken back to the institution.
Dr. Shalini tries everything to improve his health. In this way they get closer and try to bring Shyam's real face to light. They succeed and both look forward to a happy future together.
