Pak Song-chol (born September 24, 1987 ) is a North Korean football player .

Career

Pak appears internationally as a player for Rimyongsu SG .

The midfielder took in 2007 with the North Korean U-20 team at the Junior World Championships in 2007 in Canada and in part came in all three group matches against Panama, the Czech Republic and Argentina used. In October 2007 he played for the North Korean national team in the first two games of the World Cup qualification against Mongolia, and in March 2008 another World Cup qualifier against South Korea was added.

In 2008 he played with a B selection of the national team in the AFC Challenge Cup . With six goals he secured the title of top scorer (2 goals against Sri Lanka, 1 against Nepal, a flawless hat trick against Myanmar), after a 1-0 defeat in the semi-finals against Tajikistan it wasn't enough to win the tournament. In 2010 he took part again as captain with the North Korean B team in the AFC Challenge Cup . In this edition, the East Asians prevailed against Turkmenistan in the final and also qualified for the Asian Football Championship by winning this tournament . Pak himself scored two goals (1 against Kyrgyzstan, 1 against Myanmar).

With the North Korean Olympic selection (U-23) he failed in the final qualifying round for the 2008 Olympic Games in 2007, and in 2009 he finished fourth with the Olympic team at the East Asian Games in Hong Kong. Pak scored two goals over the course of the tournament and also scored in his team's two lost penalties.
