Pak To-chun (born March 9, 1944 in Rangrim-gun , Chagang-do ) a North Korean politician of the Labor Party of Korea (PdAK), who is currently a candidate for the Politburo of the Central Committee (ZK) of the PdAK, secretary of the PdAK Central Committee for the defense industry and a member of the National Defense Commission . The former party secretary in the defense and mechanical engineering industry is one of the numerous politicians of the second generation after the founding of North Korea, who moved to the center of power in 2010.

Life

Since the end of 2010 his influence within the central party leadership grew and he was one of two civilians who accompanied Kim Jung-il in 2010 on his last field inspection with the People's Army. On April 7, 2011, Pak was finally elected a member of the National Defense Commission, also succeeding Jon Pyong-ho in this capacity.
