The Palandöken ( Turkish Palandöken Dağı ) is a mountain in the province of Erzurum in eastern Turkey .
The Palandöken is 10 km south of the city of Erzurum , which itself is at an altitude of 1950 m. It extends in a west-east direction.

On the way from Erzurum to the summit there is a winter sports area near Başköy at an altitude of 2100 m. The ski slope is the longest in Turkey, and Palandöken is one of the most famous ski areas in the country , along with Uludağ in Bursa . There are four hotels on the mountain.
In 2011 the Universiade was held at Palandöken .
