The Palapu is an East Timorese river in the Maubara Administrative Office ( Liquiçá municipality ). Like most of the smaller rivers in North Timor , the Marae falls dry outside of the rainy season.

The Palapu rises in the east of the Sucos Vatuvou . It flows north and soon reaches the Sawusee , into which it flows west of the town of Vatu-Nau .
