The Palaver Point is a headland on the west coast of Two Hummock Iceland in the Palmer Archipelago west of the Antarctic Peninsula .
Aerial photographs were taken between 1955 and 1957 during the Falkland Islands and Dependencies Aerial Survey Expedition . The headland is named after the background noise that emanates from the penguin colony here and is reminiscent of a palaver .
