Pallini ( Greek Παλλήνη , ( f. Sg. ); Official name Dimotiki Enotita Pallinis Δημοτική Ενότητα Παλλήνης, alternative transcription Pallene ) is the southern municipality of the municipality of Kassandra on the Chalkidiki peninsula in the Greek region of Central Macedonia . From 1997 to 2010 Pallini was an independent municipality with the administrative seat in the village of Chaniotis , the largest village is Pefkochori . The name of the municipality is borrowed from the ancient name for the Kassandra peninsula : Pallini or Pallene .

The Pallinis area occupies the southern part of the Kassandra peninsula (1st finger or foot of the three-fingered Chalkidiki peninsula ) and bordered the municipality of Kassandra in the north. To the west and south of the border Thermaic Gulf , to the east and north of the Toronäische Gulf of Pallini.
