Ulugbek Palvanov

Ulugbek Palvanov ( Uzbek Ulugʻbek Polvonov ; * 1974 in Urganch ) is an Uzbek pianist .

Life

Palvanov received his first piano lessons at the age of five, studied at the State Conservatory in Tashkent and at the Tchaikovsky Conservatory in Moscow . This was followed from 1997 onwards in Berlin with Klaus Bäßler at the Hanns Eisler Music Academy and then with Klaus Hellwig at the Berlin University of the Arts .

Palvanov won various competitions, including 1st prize at the Steinway competition in Berlin. He has given concerts in Europe, the USA and Japan - with the Moscow Philharmonic Orchestra, the Bozen / Bolzano Chamber Orchestra, the Tbilisi Philharmonic Orchestra and the Israel Philharmonic Orchestra , among others . and the saxophonist Andrej Lakisov .
