Panchang (name variants: Panchang Tero , Panchang Wharf Town , Panchang Sanchu Taba , Panchang Maka Gui ) is a town in the West African state of Gambia .
According to a calculation for 2013, about 1536 inhabitants live there, the result of the last published census from 1993 was 1020.
geography
Panchang, in the Central River Region in the Upper Saloum district on the north bank of the Gambia River, is located on the North Bank Road , an important Gambian highway , between Njau and Fass .
