Trivia
Panza gained a certain fame through the bitch Nicoletta, who waited ten years for her dead master. Nicoletta belonged to a German named Alfred who lived in Panza. Since he died in 2009, the dog had lived in the cemetery where he was buried. The local residents looked after her and built her a dog house there. Nicoletta spent many hours at Alfred's grave every day. In 2019, at the age of 14, she developed a tumor and had to be euthanized. Many Italian newspapers reported the story.
