history

Radňov was probably founded in the 13th century. The first mention of Radnow took place 1375. In 1436 overwrote King Sigismund the castle Lipnice with numerous villages, including Radnova dvora , for faithful service hereditary to Nicholas Trčka of Lípa . Later the Lords Trčka from Lípa moved the seat of the lordship to Světlá . After the Thirty Years' War Radňov was added to the Herálec manor . In 1819 the children from Radňov were retrained from Herálec to the branch school in Květinov.

In 1840 the village of Radniow in the Caslauer Kreis consisted of 22 houses in which 175 people lived. The parish was Heraletz. Until the mid-19th century was Radniow the rule Herálec servants.

After the abolition of patrimonial Radňov formed from 1849 a district of the municipality Koječín in the judicial district Humpoletz . From 1868 the village belonged to the Deutschbrod district . In 1869 Radňov had 212 inhabitants and consisted of 25 houses. In the 1890s, Radňov broke away from Koječín and formed its own municipality. Because of the joint elementary school in Květinov, there were a number of disputes with the members of the school board and the school director; the affluent Radňov community bore most of the maintenance costs for the school in Květinov. In 1900 there were 213 people in Radňov, in 1910 there were 184. On July 1, 1910, the municipality became part of the newly established Humpoletz district . In 1921 Ludvík Císař, who until the First World War was the crystal glass cutting company Vojtěch Bárta a spol. at Květinov, with his own glass cutting shop at Radňov. Two years later, he and his brother leased the former Bártasche glass cutting shop and finally bought it in the 1930s, along with the associated Paletáč pond. In 1930 Radňov had 189 inhabitants and consisted of 34 houses. In contrast to Kvasetice and Květinov, where large farms and cottagers dominated, Radňov was a farming village characterized by twelve larger farms for centuries. After the February revolution of 1948, the formation of a JZD in Radňov made slow progress. Some of the peasants who opposed collectivization were expropriated as " kulaks " in the 1950s and a. forcibly relocated to Květinov. In the course of the territorial reform of 1960 and the abolition of the Okres Humpolec, the municipality was assigned to the Okres Havlíčkův Brod . On July 1, 1971, it was incorporated into Květinov . In the 2001 census, 52 people lived in the village's 35 houses.

The historic urban structure of the Rundling landscaped around a village square with pond village is still visible.
