Paolo Bianchini
Paolo Bianchini (* 1931 in Rome ) is an Italian film director and screenwriter .
Life
Bianchini worked for many years as an assistant director (1953 to 1964), often for Luigi Zampa , but also for Vittorio de Sica and Mauro Bolognini , before directing a number of films himself. His solid genre goods were properly crafted and accompanied by a small economic success. After his greatest success, Superandy (a Superman parody), he only appeared twice: with a coregie of a documentary and in 1997 with the highly acclaimed but rarely shown La grade queria . Otherwise, he concentrated on working for television.
Bianchini's pseudonym was Paul Maxwell . He has been the Italian UNICEF ambassador since 2002 .
