Luigi Paolo Salvi (born November 22, 1891 in Brescia ; † January 12, 1945 in the Mauthausen concentration camp ) was an Italian gymnast and two-time Olympic champion .
At the Summer Olympics in Stockholm in 1912 , he won the team all- around with the Italian team. Eight years later at the games in Antwerp , he was able to repeat this success.
In November 1943 Salvi was imprisoned in Albenga. He was charged with distributing an anti-fascist leaflet. First released again, he was arrested again in January 1944 and taken to the Mauthausen concentration camp via various intermediate stops. According to the camp administration, he died there on January 12, 1945 in an air raid.
