Papyrus 21 (named after Gregory-Aland with Sigel 21 ) is an early Greek copy of the New Testament . This papyrus manuscript of the Gospel of Matthew contains only verses 12.24-26.32-33. It was dated to the early 3rd century by means of paleography .

The manuscript was written in large upright uncial letters .

The Greek text of the Codex probably represents the Western text type . Aland placed him in Category III .

In Matthew 12.25 there is the text variant ιδων δε (instead of ειδως δε) in accordance with the Codex Bezae , corrector b of the Codex Sinaiticus , 892 * , it d, k syr c , s cop bo . In 12.32 the words αυτω ουτε are missing.

Currently, the handwriting in Muhlenberg College (Theol. Pap. 3) in Allentown ( Pennsylvania stored).
