Muhlenberg College is a US private college founded in 1848. The college is located in Allentown , Pennsylvania and employs nearly 200 full-time staff. Muhlenberg College is close to the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America , but places great value on religious tolerance.

The college has approximately 2,100 students and is known for its English, psychology, theater, and dance courses.

The name of the college goes back to Henry Melchior Mühlenberg , a patriarch of the Lutheran Church in America .
