The papyrus Chester Beatty VII (No. 965 after Rahlfs ) is a fragment of a papyrus manuscript from the first half of the 3rd century. It contains parts from the biblical book Isaiah (8.18–19.13; 38.14–45.5; 54.1–60.22) in Greek ( Septuagint ). 33 damaged sheets of paper have been preserved, the last eight of which have not been described. Some notes in the Fajjum dialect of the Coptic language are added.

The fragments were acquired by the American collector Alfred Chester Beatty in Egypt before the end of 1931 . The fragments were in the possession of the University of Michigan at Ann Arbor for some time , and two sheets were privately owned by W. Merton. Today, most fragments are in the Chester Beatty Library in Dublin with the signatures P. Ch Beatty VII and P. Merton 2, one (Isaiah 19.3 to 5; 19.8 to 11). In the Laurentian Library in Florence with the signature PSI XII 1273.
