The Papyrussammlung Berlin is a collection of over 35,000 manuscript fragments . It is the largest collection of its kind in Germany and one of the five most important collections worldwide. It is part of the Egyptian Museum in Berlin (Staatliche Museen zu Berlin).

The collection also includes 7,000 ostracas , 1,000 parchments , 500 papers, as well as wooden and wax tablets, textiles, leather manuscripts and a lead tablet. Over 100 manuscripts contain drawings. About half of the manuscripts are described in Greek , the other half in Coptic , Demotic , Hebrew , Aramaic , Syrian , Persian , Latin and Arabic .

The manuscripts are from archaeological finds in Egypt such as Elephantine , Theadelphia and Tebtynis in the early 20th century as well as from purchases and donations. Some of the most important are some of the earliest manuscripts with ancient Egyptian narratives such as the story of Sinuhe (P. 3022, 10499), the narratives in the Westcar Papyrus (P. 3033) and the conversation of a weary man with his soul (P. 3024).
