Paramonowo ( Russian Парамо́ново ) is a village in Moscow Oblast in Russia , about 40 kilometers as the crow flies north of the outskirts of Moscow .
Paramonowo belongs with 88 other villages to the municipality of Dmitrov of the Dmitrov Rajon of the same name . It is located about 13 kilometers southwest of the center of the city of Dmitrov.
Sports
A bobsleigh , toboggan and skeleton track was built in Paramonowo between February and December 2007 and finally opened on March 10, 2008. In February 2011 the first toboggan World Cup race was held on the track; In February 2012, the World Cup finals of the 2011/2012 season and the 2012 European Luge Championships took place.
