Paraskevas Antzas ( Greek Παρασκευάς Άντζας ; born August 18, 1976 in Athens ) is a former Greek football player .
Career
society
Antzas began his career with pandramaikos . In 1995 he switched to Skoda Xanthi . After three years at Skoda Xanthi, he moved to Olympiacos Piraeus in 2003 . With Olympiacos he was five times champion and one cup winner. In January 2004 he moved to Doxa Dramas . He stayed there for a year and then moved back to Skoda Xanthi. For the 2007/08 season he returned to Olympiacos. Following the 2008/09 season, he ended his career as a player. In his senior year he won the championship and cup double again with Piraeus.
National team
After playing two games for the U-21 national team , Antzas made his debut on February 5, 1999 in the Greek national football team . He was on the starting line-up for the game against Belgium. He was in the squad for the 2008 European Football Championship in Austria and Switzerland . Antzas played through against Sweden and was substituted on for Sotirios Kyrgiakos in the 62nd minute against Spain in the last group game, when Greece had already been eliminated . After Greece missed the quarter-finals at the European Championship, he ended his active national team career.
