The Parawera Cone is a 1300 m high hill in the east of the Antarctic Ross Island . In the Kyle Hills, it rises 1.5 km northwest of Ainley Peak at the northeast end of Tekapo Ridge .
The New Zealand Geographic Board named it in 2000 after the Maori name for a south wind.
