Park So-dam (born September 8, 1991 ) is a South Korean actress .

Life

After graduating from high school , Park auditioned for 19 auditions within a month. Since she was unsuccessful with many, she had doubts whether acting was right for her at all. She started her career in theater and independent films . She became very well known in 2015 through the horror films The Boarding School: Condemned to Silence and The Priests .

In 2019 she played one of the lead roles in the Oscar-winning film Parasite by Bong Joon-ho . The lead role in Zhang Lu's art-house film Fukuoka followed shortly thereafter .
