The Pascack Valley Line is a 50 km long New Jersey Transit railroad . It runs from Spring Valley (New York) to the Hoboken Terminal . There is a PATH connection to Manhattan .

The line is single-track and not electrified. It was built in 1856 as the Hackensack and New York Railroad . In 2003 the Secaucus Junction was built.

In 2010 the Pascack Valley Line was used by an average of 7,000 passengers a day.

On September 29, 2016, there was an accident at the Hoboken destination station, with over 100 injured.
