Pascal Notthoff (born April 27, 1963 in Bottrop ) is a former German soccer player .

Career

In 1974, Notthoff began playing soccer at the Bottrop club Blau-Weiß Fuhlenbrock . In 1978 he switched to the youth team at MSV Duisburg . As a U-19 player, he made his first appearance in the Bundesliga . Under coach Kuno Klötzer he was used in the 1981/82 season in the last game of the second half of the season against Fortuna Düsseldorf in the home stadium in the 2-1 victory of MSV. The MSV was relegated, Notthoff stayed and played for the next four years with the MSV in the second division. In the four years he was a regular player. In 1986 he went to Alemannia Aachen and played two more years in the second division. He then moved to the Oberliga Nordrhein for Wuppertaler SV , with whom he was champion in his second season , but failed in the promotion round to the 2nd Bundesliga. He is the older brother of Patrick Notthoff .
