history
The association was founded on August 12, 1926, through the initiative of the then chaplain of the parish of St. Ludger, Beckhoff. He invited friends who had played football up to this point under the name of the youth club and all those interested in football to a meeting on the grounds of the Jacobi mine , at the end of which the club was founded under its current name.

In the 1995/96 season, the women's team qualified for the DFB Cup . In the first round, the Fuhlenbrockers lost 0:12 to the Bundesliga club TSV Siegen at the time .
The current coach of the women's team is Mirsada Hoffmann Kovac from Bosnia-Herzegovina.
