The Pasłęka ([ pasˈwɛŋka ], German: Passarge ) is a river in the Polish Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship .
The 145 kilometer long Pasłęka rises on the Prussian ridge north of Olsztynek ( Hohenstein ) near the village of Gryźliny ( Grieslienen ) in the municipality of Stawiguda (Stabigotten) and, after it flows west of Orneta ( Wormditt ), the Drwęca Warmińska ( Drewenz ) and further north which Wałsza ( Walsch ) has taken, below Braniewo ( Braunsberg ) in the Fresh Lagoon . The last nine kilometers from Braniewo it is navigable .
The name Passarge
