Patricia Medina
Patricia Medina (born July 19, 1919 in Liverpool , England - † April 28, 2012 in Los Angeles , California ) was a British actress .
life and career
The daughter of an Englishman and a Spaniard was discovered during her school days and signed up to the Elstree Studios. She made her film debut in 1937 in The Girl with the Mask . In 1945 she went to Hollywood and was seen there primarily in B-films and later in numerous television productions. Her best-known films include The Three Musketeers (1948) and Mr. Satan himself (1955) by Orson Welles . After she had mainly appeared in television productions since the early 1960s, she came in 1968 in The Double Life of Sister George in an unusual role as a female dominatrix back to the movie.
In 1978 the actress withdrew into private life. Patricia Medina was married to actor Richard Greene from 1941 to 1951 , this marriage ended in divorce. In 1960 she married the actor Joseph Cotten , with whom she remained married until his death. Both played together in the film U 4000 - Panic Under the Ocean
