Patricia A. Woertz (* 1953 in Pennsylvania ) was Chief Executive Officer of the food company Archer Daniels Midland . According to a list of 100 most powerful women in the world of Forbes Magazine was one of them in 2006 and 2007, the most powerful of the ten women in the world.
After studying at Pennsylvania State University , she worked from 1974 at Ernst & Young in Pittsburgh, then at Gulf Oil and Chevron Corporation . In 2006 she took over the management of Archer Daniels Midland .
On January 1, 2015, Juan Luciano took over the role of CEO.
